Honestly, don't even try. I'm serious. It's basically physically impossible to care. Humans have evolved to care about 200 people TOPS. Don't try to emotionally invest.

On an intellectual level, sure, go ahead and donate, sign petitions, do outreach, etc.

But don't try to emotionally invest in everything. You simply can't.
