I wish I could find the bestiary I had, a long time ago, with the poem that began:

Stegosaurus, dino-dim,
was something like the Inner City:
he had three different brains in him,
too many chiefs on the steering committee.

And it went on to describe how the bewildered dinosaur had nothing left in life but to "sink straight down and turn to coal."

And before someone gets on my case, the book was published sometime in the 80s, so yes, I know that's very poor natural history.
