8. Don't feel bad. Someone picked up your request so it obviously couldn't have been that difficult. If the person did default for not liking your request, they should have not signed up for that fandom/characters in the first place.


47. Then leave; most parents are understandable when their kids have to come crawling back to them for a while when they've made a stupid life choice. Moving to a country for fandoms is always a bad idea, whether to Japan for anime/manga reasons or to England to search for the Doctor and the TARDIS.

Let me guess, you moved there, figuring everything was going to be like your favourite anime/manga and then when you found out it wasn't you started hating it. I say this because the things you listed as the things you 'hate' (the food, the language, their treatment of women, the modern culture, the drinking, how they treat nerds) are things you should have been aware of before even moving there.
