Jian Ghomeshi, canadian radio/tv personality who is apparently an abusive creep and tried to spin it as "I'm being fired because I like kinky sex". He was in a cheesy band that did comedy music in the nineties, which is definitely not common knowledge.

...Kind of the same here, OP. I had actually retrieved some of my Moxy Fruvous CDs from my parents' home a couple days before the news broke, and now I just kind of look at them like "...Mmm." Though most of the songs I remember or liked didn't have Jian in the lead.

Dammit. I rather wish I hadn't heard about this, as I loved Moxy Fruvous back in the day. They had an amazing live show. And I love a lot of their songs as a fun listen. Why do people often end up being assholes? Sigh...
