shounen manga don't end with romantic 'resolution' on the level of Naruto

What makes you think there's meddling?

I'm saying that most shounen manga I've come across don't end with a bunch of concrete romantic pairings, let alone a flash forward with kids. That's not the 'expected' ending for a shounen series. Sure it happens sometimes, but it's not the norm.

The only people who say it's "meddling" are the people who thought that "omg Naruto Sakura are going to bang!!1one". It's their own fault for ignoring the million times Sakura thought about Sasuke/Sasuke-kooned/worried about Sasuke/Confessed to Sasuke. I mean, damn, three times. She was going to leave Konoha AGAIn after ALL THE TIME SHE SPENT WITH NARUTO just to be with Sasuke. She never fell in love with Naruto, it couldn't be more blatant.
