Have to second sci-fi. On a related note, Stanislaw Lem and steampunk. The Photographer's Chair. X-Files, for some reason??

And then I have a bunch of associations to do with your username - gin and tonic and ginger hair being some of them.

Hmm, really? I don't know much at all about Stanislaw Lem; and I dislike steampunk, but try not to bitch about it. X-Files is a very reasonable assumption, although I haven't seen it.

I don't think it's related to anything you said - I'd definitely remember if you talked about the stuff. It's more about the way I perceive you. I adore both steampunk and Lem, for what it's worth :)

Not going to vouch as to how much of it is due to your userpics and how much due to your actual posts, but in my head you have this slight pleasantly old-fashioned air. I also think you're a kind of rational no-nonsense person, but at the same time you're polite and nice to people, which is where Lem comes from.
