For the first time since 2008, there is a new neopet species, the Owlbear Vandagyre. What do we think?

Alternatively, what is your all-time favorite neopet species? Mine is the Peophin, but I also really like the Kacheek for customization purposes. Peophins are beautiful, but difficult to dress!

I think my favorite was called a Bori? It was kind of armadillo-like but had a really cute face.

I really had to think hard about my login information to check this out...

It's... okay I guess? A bit bland, but maybe I'm just over the cutesy art style those pets have.
I liked Eyries best, I even had four of them.

I don't like the art, not because it's bad, just because it doesn't mesh well with the other pets for me. Maybe it'll grow on me.

Aishas are my favorite! Sometimes I'm surprised that I only have one Aisha. I love cats and aliens, so an alien cat is perfect for me.

*High-fives for Aisha love* I honestly don't care in the slightest that she's a basic bitch, I love my yellow Aisha. She's just so cute, but also not overwhelmingly "cutesy." I also only have one, although my Professional Lab Rat has been one twice- once when I first got him (holy crap, someone straight-up gave me a DN desert Aisha just so I could use the clothes on Lalla), and once from the Lab a few years ago (so now Lalla has Christmas Aisha attire as well).

HECK YEAH SHOYRUS! Iirc they used to never turn from a sideways face. What joy it was when I could finally see my shoyru from the front kind of iirc :'D

I always loved Zafara. I remember being super proud of my Christmas one like a decade ago, just because it took forever for me to save up for the brush with my old computer.

When I was playing yeaaaaaaaars ago, my favourite pet was the Usul.

I just logged on. Holy fuck, was I a hater when I was a young teen. One of my pets names is "___The___Hater" (first blank is pet species, second blank is a female celeb I hated.) The other two pets are song lyrics.

Eyries, definitely. I had seven across four different accounts before Neopets started cracking down on side accounts; then it went down to just the one on my main account. (I think I may have had two or three more on the one side account I kept but I've long since lost the login details for that, heh.) I've also got a Kougra and a Hissi, and a huge soft spot for Gelerts and Ixis.
