Some get two sentences, some get four sentences and some get a whole damn chapter - or more! - dedicated to them. Fëanor is some between four sentences and a chapter, so he has more characterisation than say his half-brother Finarfin, whose only notable fact is he stayed home and Galadriel was his daughter.
