I followed it religiously for the most part since yellow, but I don't think I'm even gonna buy ORAS. XY killed my enthusiasm.

I kind of feel the same. Hoenn is my favourite region and playing Emerald got me back into the fandom, but XY were horrible. If ORAS is going to be anything like XY, I don't want to play them.
