(I've been there, though; riled myself up right before bedtime and then spent half the night trying not to hyperventilate while my husband snores next to me. He doesn't believe in an afterlife and is totally cool with that, the fucking weirdo. LOL)

That I when I say need to calm doen and can't breath, my thoughts go, "well, you w ok nt ve breathing when you're dead." Just adding more fuel to the fire. Ugh, I'm so conflicted about the udea of an afterlife or nonexistence. On some days, they're both equally jhorrifying.

It's been a long time since I've had a true panic attack. I had them almost non-stop during undergrad and took medication for them, but it's been a couple years now. i'm so sorry, Nonnie.
I am firmly in the camp that if the everlasting torment my childhood upbringing promises me is real, I'd rather endure that forever than be nothing. :(

Both options seem equally horrifying. Just damn, there's no way to win. :(
