*takes a bow*

And 100% true. I am super super unhappy that death is a certainty for us all and deeply afraid of dying. :(

I DO NOT GO GENTLE INTO THAT GOOD NIGHT, NONNIE!

*applauds*

Same here. :( doesn't help that I've been thinking about it a lot lately, particularly when I lay down to go to sleep. Not something you want to think about before going to sleep.

No, Nonnie, no! We do not think of such things before sleeping.

(I've been there, though; riled myself up right before bedtime and then spent half the night trying not to hyperventilate while my husband snores next to me. He doesn't believe in an afterlife and is totally cool with that, the fucking weirdo. LOL)

Tell me about it. Intrusive thoughts like that before bed suck. :(

I've al ready had one panic atrack about it in the past month or so. You know the wrst thing about it? That I when I say need to calm doen and can't breath, my thoughts go, "well, you w ok nt ve breathing when you're dead." Just adding more fuel to the fire. Ugh, I'm so conflicted about the udea of an afterlife or nonexistence. On some days, they're both equally jhorrifying.

*hugs*

It's been a long time since I've had a true panic attack. I had them almost non-stop during undergrad and took medication for them, but it's been a couple years now. i'm so sorry, Nonnie.

I am firmly in the camp that if the everlasting torment my childhood upbringing promises me is real, I'd rather endure that forever than be nothing. :(

*hugs*

Thank you. It helps to chat about it a bit. It has been ages since I had a panic attack and then it suddenly came out of nowhere. I'm glad you don't have them anymore.

Both options seem equally horrifying. Just damn, there's no way to win. :(
