Honestly, every single celebrity has probably done something equivalently bad.

Like…Tumblr has mad love for Guillermo del Toro even though he signed that Roman Polanski petition so how can you really support him while getting mad at RDJ for saying "nice tits"?

That doesn't make RDJ's comment okay but…it just seems like selective outrage, honestly.

Because if celebrities do anything that isn't Jesus levels of perfect, they must be the actual devil! I mean, surely OP (and most of Tumblr) has never done anything bad ever. They were born with The Feminine Mystique grasped in one hand and guide to privilege in the other.

My point is that the guy said "nice tits" -- that's about it (since the other part's been pretty thoroughly debunked). And, while certainly not nice, show me a celebrity and I'll show you an equally shitty quote.

Go ahead and call out the quote itself, but it just seems like people want to have a go at RDJ. Because what he's said isn't nearly as bad as some of Tumblr's favorites.

Again, you seem to be confusing "people who criticize RDJ" with "people on Tumblr" and "people on Tumblr who support celebrities who've done worse things". That's not all one monolithic group, which is why your argument is low on logic.
