How is their fun "taking over" anyone else's fun? No one is forced to read their RP. OP's only complaint is that the writers aren't writing as much fic, which is a stupid and incredibly selfish thing to be complaining about.

No one owes you fic. A writer can stop writing fic at any time for any reason and that's their right. They can move on from a fandom, they can become busy, they can switch to another hobby instead. Don't like it? Too bad, so sad. If they're having more fun doing something that isn't writing, they're allowed to do that.

I'm sorry, but that last bit was kind of shitty of you because you're prioritizing other people's fun over my own theoretical fun. I'm here for myself, not for you, so shut it. Your fun is not more important than my own and I'm not going to stop RPing or writing fic or whatever just because it's not what you want me to do.

Not the anon you're talking to, but yes. To /them/, their fun is more important than other people's fun. It's /their/ free time, why should they spend it doing things for other people? How fucking entitled are you that you think people should prioritize other people's fun over their own?
