People can be disappointed without being entitled, you do realize that right?

People who don't feel entitled don't word their secrets like OP does. They are literally complaining that the people RPing weren't writing as much fic for them to consume as before, and thus they're glad that RPing is over so they have more of the stuff they want.

Why do people see that as so terrible? If someone likes fic more than RP, then yeah, they're gonna be happy if people start writing more fic and doing less RP. The same goes for the opposite: if someone likes RP more than fic, they're gonna be happy if people start doing more RP and writing less fic.

Nobody deserves anything in fandom, but people have preferences and as everyone keeps saying, different ways of having fun in fandom. It's pretty natural that people are gonna be happier when their kind of fun is popular, and they're gonna be less happy or even annoyed when their kind of fun isn't popular. It's also pretty natural that they're gonna be happy if the focus of their fandom shifts to their kind of fun.

Oh dear God, it's not all some huge conspiracy you know.

People get disappointed. They say they're disappointed. They wish things were the way they were, or they way they'd like things to be. They're happy when things seem to be working out that way. That STILL doesn't make them entitled. You keep throwing that word around when it doesn't even sound like you know what it means.
