My decision was based solely around wanting to romance Cullen. So I had to go with female human or elf. I actually wanted to go for an elf but then the background was Dalish, not ex-Circle, so human it is!

Next playthrough is definitely a Qunari though because OMG I want to play as one of them badly. Just not quite as badly as I want to sex up Cullen.
