I don't even know the fandom, but I swoon a little myself whever someoe uses that picture for a secret.

It is gorgeous art. And it kind of makes me want to ship the characters even if I didn't before.

FYI, the fandom is Tolkien, specifically the Silmarillion. That particular scene is Fingon rescuing his cousin, Maedhros, who was tortured by Morgoth and then hung on a mountain cliff by one hand. And it says a lot about the relationship that none of Maedhros' brothers tried to rescue him, just his cousin.
