I know that Jeph has been teasing Marten/Claire for a while, but I guess I was sort of hoping he'd move on. In hindsight, it's obvious that they were moving in that direction; but Marten/Claire really jossed the comic weirdness with Emily and Marten, which I kept wondering about.

I would be fine with Emily and Marten too. It's all good honestly. I like most of the characters and their interactions. But yeah, Marten/Claire has been cute enough that I'm willing to see where it goes.

I pretty much stopped reading when Marten and Claire became a couple. Mostly because I don't personally care about Claire, and the comic literally became "Fayngus can't cut it and Marten is actually dating someone again."

Literally all the characters (Steve, Angus, Dora) that made the comic for me aren't really in it anymore.
