Oh man, I love Resistance even though I'm not great at it. But playing with my friends is fun, because one of them narrates a new scenario for every game and then keeps up with the storytelling through each round and it's always really creative and great.

Anyway. OP, I can definitely see why you're worried about it but I think maybe you shouldn't be, unless you're given specific reasons to worry or suspect something. It might just be that your friends are really good actors who can play their "parts" in the game, but they wouldn't necessarily put those skills to work in the real world, against real people they care about. Like one of the other comments said, keeping up appearances when you lie IRL is really difficult, so if you don't think your friends have got a reason to lie, they probably aren't.
