In my last couple of fandoms, the worst offenders when it came to drama weren't the young crowd, it was the pretentious BNFs who were closer to my age (late 20's, early 30's). The younger fans were actually much more easygoing.

So no, the drama most definitely isn't limited to the teenagers.
