This thing could have had the subtlety of a Renaissance painting and people would have still being able to tell it was a troll.

Look, some statements just don't work as troll secrets.

Hmm, I think there's a problem with most users here have been here too long, and we don't have any actual delusional thirteen year old fangirls, nor any self-righteous SJWs. I kind of assume that any crazy posts in either ballpark is a troll, so in that sense, I'm not sure if this secret is salvageable.

But I think we could work with it a bit. Maybe keep the sentiment of thinking Sasuke is your dream guy, and maybe either went "I'm secretly jealous of Sakura" or something to imply that you identify with her. Then add a bit of shame (just because any serious user would know how we'd react) without the generic, obnoxious "s!b don't you know how people would react!" But give it a bit of a boost at the end without going too far, like you've been in love with him since you read the first manga ten years ago and it only got stronger, and you always have violent S&M fantasies about him.

I mean, it's tough subject matter but I think at least a little bit of effort could've improved the overall presentation. And a good chunk of us are gullible as fuck, so you might've even gotten a few biters.

Why would anyone be ashamed at liking Sasuke though? He's a great character.

I think there's nothing wrong with that, but the troll secret wants to cash in on the rage of Sakura/Sasuke being canon, right? When Sasuke is a "bad boy" who pretty much ignores and disregards her throughout he series. So not liking Sasuke, but more saying something about how you think that he'd be the perfect boyfriend.

The S&M fantasy secret I could buy, but the thing is that this community has become rather insular, so we more or less know the kind of people who frequent it, and they're not quite as dumb as this secret. I'd buy this secret if it were in a tumblr confessions blog, because those are huuuuge.
