I had no idea who Lena Dunham WAS before all this, and thus no opinion on her. Then I saw this and read the excerpts about it (form the book)

and I believe this is a very good reason to not like her.

But by all means, keep stanning. You're providing entertainment for all of us.

Yeah you say that. But you're very determined to believe that everyone who disapproves has an agenda. Can we not just legitimately find her emotionally manipulative , controlling behavior towards her sister really shitty?

People can dislike her without having evil sexist reasons for doing so. Get over it, already.

I honestly think based on the WAY she described things in her book and what I've seen of how she's treated her sister (and past statements I looked up about her sister) that she sounds abusive and controlling. Not a sex offender...but abusive and controlling.

Also a bit of a fake, and attention seeker.

I'm sure as hell not going to say she deserves a bunch of bad stuff to happen to her, and I'm not going to send death threats, but I don't think she's totally innocent either.

No one here is stanning her. Lena is by no means a great human being, and her autobiography whatever the hell it is was incredibly inappropriate, and she very very obviously doesn't know how to filter or think before she word vomits.

But accusing someone of sexually abusing someone else is a serious accusation, and Lena's sister herself has made no such accusations and has said she's completely fine. Grace has called Lena out on shit, too, in the past so this isn't exactly new.

Just like the internet to talk over the actual person involved to try and claim what's right. Especially since the only real information provided is a highly exaggerated account by an unreliable narrator sorely in need of an editor. It's honestly really shitty to her sister for people to keep spewing their disgust on her behalf. She clearly doesn't need it.
