To all the people saying this is a normal experience: take a child development class. It's normal to explore your own genitals. Not someone else's. And especially not your siblings.

I've worked with kids. This is literally not a thing that happens often, and when it does, it's considered a serious problem and we have to report it since it can often mean sexual abuse by adults.

It happened once. And sometimes kids do do this kind of stuff. I think it's weird that she was boasting about it, or whatever, but it's not something totally heinous either.

Sometimes kids do this and it's usually because they're not in a good environment, and they definitely don't boast about it.

Quit defending her.

If it was repetitive, then I would see it as a lot more unhealthy/the sign of a bigger problem.

I always assumed mutual exploration was somewhat common due to various tv or book references to "playing doctor" or "show me yours and I'll show you mine." I didn't grow up with a lot of other neighborhood kids, but thought that was a thing that occasionally happened among more social children.

Lol no. Kinds aren't stupid, they wouldn't do that stuff around adults so I'm not at all suprised you didn't see it, despite having worked with children. I don't kow a single person who doesn't admit to having touched other kids' genitals as a child.

Whoever taught you in that child development class probably wasn't very well educated about it themselves.

I didn't. Neither did anyone else I grew up with.

Or they just didn't tell you about it.

Then again, I have one friend who claims she's never done those things, but I clearly remember her talking about it when we were both kids, so perhaps some people just forget that they've done it. And some probably really didn't, not everyone hs the exact same childhood experiences.

You really don't know shit about children, do you?
