Flight Rising thread

Because I am having way too much fun on this website.

What's the funniest coupling you've made/seen on FR? So far the funniest I've seen was this person who names all of their dragons after bread puns. For example, the dragon I bought from them? Her parent's are Crustington and Crumblaila. (I did change my dragon's name, though, can't remember what her's was. >>;) They also have dragons named Loafwing, Flourbouquet, and Kneadyfeet (among others).

Then, I have a dragon named Papaya that I wanted to breed, and when I finally found the dragon I wanted to mate her with, he wasn't named, so I named him Peach. I'm really tempted to name their babies after fruit too, I won't even lie.

Anyone else see anything funny recently?

I need to actually log in and play this. I was super busy these last three months, but I jumped in on the last sign up since I had no idea when the next one would be.

I hope so too. Unfortunately, I think I just screwed myself over. I did the email/username thing, but never officially confirmed it. Tried it now, and the site said the two didn't match. Clicked the 'resend confirmation email', but I don't know if I'll actually get it or not.

I might have missed a hidden register and you have to confirm within x number of days window or something. :\

And if I'd done this a week ago, I could've just registered with the second open window they had a couple days ago, but nope. I just happen to have bad timing.

On the plus(?) side, with the way that the ref window was only a month after the last one, there might be a third one really soon too?

I am disporportionately amused by the way wing silks look on mirror females. They just make me think that the dragon was running through a bazaar and the draperies on a doorway caught on her wings as she barrelled through it.

My name is greenvelvetcake and I, too, am spending way too much time on dragon Neopets.

I like to name mine after food, particularly candy - I have a Wildberry and BananaTwist who'd make beautiful babies.

I usually use behindthename and get really pretentious fancy names for my dragons, but Papaya was a gift, so I haven't renamed her, and then I bought Peach, and their names had to match! :D

I like the way this bread-name person thinks. Especially Flourbouquet.

I like to name all my dragons even if I sell them, just because it somehow bugs me for people to exalt unnamed dragons. I named a jade-colored one Porrim, after a Homestuck character, and someone with a username of Maryam bought it. They had all-Homestuck-themed dragons, mostly Maryam-themed ones.

I have a bunch named after gods and titans but some have just totally random names, like Frills and Charcoal.

I've thought about doing that. I might have to start, though I did do a newbie giveaway the other day where I didn't name them, but I'm hoping the newbies will be nice enough to all name their dragons. ;-;
