Have you ever written any stories that you would never publish anywhere? What are they?

I once wrote a next-gen/kidfic sequel to Final Fantasy VII (this was before Advent Children or anything came out) that involved, among other things: a girl created by ShinRa using DNA from Aeris and Cloud, a boy that was Sephiroth's son, Aeris being revived, Red XIII finding a long lost female of his tribe, and the notion that Jenova was basically the runt of her litter and the rest of them are now pissed off.

Literally the most embarrassing I've ever put to paper, lol. I suppose to be fair I was only like 14 at the time, but still. The only part of the whole thing I might still consider using is that Marlene grew up to have a real swearing problem just like her dad.

I have an entire box of notebooks full of stories I've written since I was maybe 14. The earlier ones are the typical, self-insert OC/canon tripe, then I started writing really explicitly non-con horror stories. I'm never going to show them to anyone or admit it to anyone.

I've written a ton of wish-fulfillment shipfic that will never see the light of day. It exists just to exorcise thoughts and make me feel good.

At the request of one of my friends I wrote quite a bit of porn (maybe kinda kinky, like threesomes and pegging but nothing too hardcore) for a children's television show. (Not a popular one with much of a fandom.)

All the characters were aged up so they were adults, but I still wouldn't post them for anyone but the one friend who asked for them in the first place.

I suppose the "worst" is the Mary Sue stories I wrote for Pern. They basically retold Lessa and Menolly's stories but from my OC's POV.

Oh yeah, plenty. Mostly it's just really self-indulgent bullshit like porn or something that pretty much doesn't even belong in the realm of the source material anymore.

I wrote most of a main character/OC fic for a now-dead fandom. It was a combination of writing exercise and trying to create a non-Mary Sue love interest for a canon character. Not sure if I succeeded but I never finished it anyway and it'll never see the light of day at this point.

Yes, hard core porn. And I wouldnt post it because the fandom is small and sex is almost nonexistent in its fic.

If it were SPN, no one would bat an eye. But not in my teeny tiny fandom.

I wrote and posted a lot -- and I mean a lot -- of fic for an obscure pairing in a major fandom a few years back. I even became a bit known for it, so specifying the ship would probably out me.

What I've never told people is that the total amount of fic I've written for this pairing is probably twice that of the amount I've posted. The unposted stuff ranges from mildly weird to extremely experimental and disturbing, which wouldn't exactly jive with the romantic comedy feel-good rep I had built up.
