I always like the 2003 anime where Ed, Al and Winry are all like siblings, so Ed/Winry feels kinda incestuous to me. I don't think Ed's really good for Winry, either, that she deserves better.
Al/Mei seems artificial and tacked on.
I love Riza to bits and I like Roy but I think they make a terrible couple and I feel sorry for Riza that her only motivation in a successful military career comes down to "this man".

I never really liked Sig and don't see what Izumi sees in him, and Hughes' over-the-top demonstrations of love for his family doesn't convince me.

Yeaaaah I feel like I'm missing out big time on this fandom.
