Oh god, James Morton, the guy with the Fair Isle jumpers, the hottest bake off contestant ever. I fell in love with him for about a month.

Is there fic of James with ANYONE, male or female, because I would read that. And then feel incredibly dirty. He's so lovely.

James Morton gets slashed with John, the young fit gay guy? Surprise surprise. Of course he does.

I don't think I can actually bring myself to read the fic (yet) but I admit to having fantasies myself about exactly the same thing, at the time of that series. Of course, I also mentally paired lovely jumper James off with anyone else I could think of. He was just a brainy little sourdough-owning peach.

If I were only a million years younger and lived on a godforsaken tiny Scottish island in the middle of the ocean, where there's nothing to do but keep each other warm in a storm. He was genuinely from the Shetland Islands, which is about as far away from everything as you can get.

That Scottish accent of his. Mmm.

These are all happy memories.
