Hey sorry I came to this thread late.

It's not that the difference between their prose and their conversation is jarring.

It's that their conversation style is REALLY FUCKING ANNOYING and would be annoying no matter what their prose sounded like.

They don't do this, like, once or twice a comment. That would be fun/cute. They write long, long, long comments with one or two of these per *sentence*. And most of them are completely unnecessary/nonsensical too.
