You don't know why advocating murder is a bad thing? Can you give me your general location there nonny, I want to make sure I stay well away. If all you wanted was the cliche of the cardboard prison done away with then you'd be in favor of just having the Joker not used as a character. Instead of that, you leapt straight for the kill-him trope. That speaks volumes about you.

... I think i missed something. Since when is it murder for a hostage to defend themselves against a known serial killer or for a police officer to shoot said killer in the middle of his murderous rampage?

And there's no way in fuck the comics will just do away with the Joker, but there's some hope they might kill him off. Maybe unclench your sphincters a bit regarding your horror at the 'murder' of a comic book character?
