I'm the same as you. I don't even bother with shaving or stuff like Nair. I use an epilator, or I wax if I've left it for too long, and the hair has grown out too much for epilating to be anything other than unbearably painful.
I recommend epilating over just sticking to wax strips, because even though the interval between doing it will be longer with waxing, it will cost a lot more money in the long run. And epilating is fast and can be done even if there's not much hair on your legs. I usually epilate once a week.
