All you need is a regular top and bottom crust, a cup of sugar, half cup of flour, 6 cups blackberries and a tablespoon of butter. Get the crust ready to go and mix up everything except the butter. I cut the blackberries down the middle if they're really big but otherwise leave them alone, and you need to get the filling deposited and the whole thing in the oven asap so it won't get soggy. You make slits in the crust, like four or five, and push slivers of the butter down into the filling from there. 425 for 35-45 minutes or until the crust is brown and the juice is bubbling through the slits. The flour thickens it up nicely but not in a canned filling way, so you'll get a nice runoff when you slice it. Comes out awesomely tart and good with hardly any work at all. :D

Thank you! I like blackberries in jam and pies, but have never attempted baking one myself. :)
