I was scrolling through the posts, and none of you have hit my advanced age, so I'm not mentioning it except to say "older than you!" And yes, still a virgin. It's really not an issue for me, was never something that felt important, and yet there is a sense of a social stigma, so I am a virgin in hiding.

It's not that it comes up per se, but there's an expectation that of course you've had sex, and I think people would be weirded out if they knew. I'm not ashamed of it, but I don't advertise it either, because I just don't want to have those conversations.
