Wrong.

If you were a POC you definitely would get criticized for only writing POC as your main characters, story after story. They'd say you had an agenda and/or a lack of imagination. You'd get a free pass for maybe the first three stories. After that, no.

I'm also with the rest of the commenters in betting that no one has ever criticized you to your face about this, since white characters are the norm.

If you don't want to write POC, just pick situations where they wouldn't reasonably be expected to be plentiful, and stop worrying about it.

Nice try. At least your background image was pretty.

Agreed. I'm not sure what world OP lives in where POC authors (authors of color?) don't get criticized for writing exclusively non-white protags.
