"When you get about the 50th "SIGNAL BOOST" thing of the day from every side, complete with the typical peer-pressure rethoric that not caring about this makes you a terrible human being, the feeling of "having to care about it a lot" isn't exactly far-fetched" is a bitchfest.

I'm agreeing with you that you shouldn't have to care if you don't want to, ffs. Suddenly this is a cardinal sin or some such shit. Grow thicker skin.

I was only replying to the "...why are you supposed to care? Especially "a lot"?" comment, though, nothing more.

Other than that, I think this discussion was kind of a misunderstanding, but you still might give the thicker skin a try yourself.
