19. This is so weird! Usually by now we'd be swamped with people shouting "OMG I <3 KAIRI SHE'S GREAT BLA BLAH"

I hate her. Yet... I love how pretty she is? I'm weird,I just like pretty things and I think she's really pretty and I want her hairstyle :P

Her as a character? PERSONALITY PLZ KTHX. I am so sick of this 'pure' b.s. it's sickening really. people think "awww lightness and cheerful disposition" my reaction? "kill it with fire."

I think the fact that Sora outshines her with his bright personality, Riku's got a strong (sad) personality, Roxas had a tragic personality, even Olette a randomly appearing character had a motherly personality. It's like, they don't even try to hide the fact that Kairi's only there to move the plot along.

And I swear if anyone tries to even come at me with the "OMG SHE CARES FOR HER FRIENDS AND FOUGHT TO PROTECT THEM" crap I will destroy you. kthx.

-person sick and tired of people liking Kairi just for the sake of liking a character everyone hates. Oh and Riku fangirls only like her now because she was nice to him. don't even try to deny it. You all hated her last game (when she actually had a playful personality) because she wanted to leave your precious Riku. Pft.

Wow, you must be hanging out in the wrong crowds, because, as far as I've noticed, most people like her for her personality, which I admit is underdeveloped (for now), but hey, that goes the same for half of the cast too.

Really? Every single fan I've met that likes her will spout the whole "i love her warm personality~" then when questioned will finally admit "well...i also like her because of those mean yaoi fangirls hating her!" or "it makes people mad when I like her haha"

She really has no personality. Just default pretty nice girl.

I am a mean yaoi fangirl, and I do like Kairi.

But. Within the past six months I wrote a KH canon-universe novel in which I had to work with nearly every major non-Disney character in KH2. Kairi was by far the most difficult to write because I realized when I tried to work with her that I had almost nothing to go off of. Namine was fun to write; I enjoyed expanding on her character. Kairi was a living hell. But I was nice to her anyway, of course; she's a sweet girl. I let her have Yuffie.

She really doesn't have a personality, though. I was disappointed to have that point driven home. D:

Seriously. It's like you can't even not like her for having no personality whatsoever without being jumped on by people defending her just because she's hated.

I just like her for who she is. And I freely admit that I used to hate her and KH2 made me change my tune. It has nothing to do with yaoi fanbrats or haters or .. you know, things. I just genuinely like her. And I feel you're just as entitled to dislike her for whatever reasons, even if I don't agree. The only reason I'm not signed in for this is I've been replying to other things as I have a secret posted today.

In the end like .. big deal. Fictional characters. Like 'em or don't. Okay, moving on.
