41. Honestly, I don't think disliking the movie makes me a bitch fan. I just thought it wasn't a very good movie. Instead of just coming up with a whole new plot they took SH1's and steamrolled over it. It seemed like plot elements were also changed to be more conventional and stereotypical, such as the one faceted cult with its sledgehammer message about religious fanaticsm, and reference to Christianity. Making Rose female may have made me happy in the sense that she's a strong female lead, however it strikes me as rather sexist that Harry as a man was replaced because of the mother-hen convention in movies. (AKA, viewers will empathise more with a mother more than a father)
Anyway, blah blah blah I enjoyed it when I was watching it and it only started to bother me later when I thought about it.

Oh, okay, that makes more sense. I can understand that; watching the movie for the first time I was in a very special place. The plot just disturbs me (and not in the way it meant to.

I kind of feel that way about The Room, as well...I don't mind if people don't like it (and there are certainly elements of it I dislike) but being different ain't a sin.
