Yes, yes, they are. :) They are the original dust jackets of the first editions, a complete set of which I am first in line to inherit (you know, hopefully many, many years in the future but one day they will be mine). Aren't they just the awesomest books ever?

And at the risk of revealing my identity (*cough*), I would point out that there is a community on lj, ransomefans.

Oh, you lucky, lucky bastard. My mum read them to me as a kid. We've got a lot of them that we've collected over the years, can't remember if it's all of them though. But yeah, awesomest books ever.
