You are not a unique snowflake.

Everyone and their sister is obsessed with AkuRoku. I'm completely confused as to why you'd consider this something you can't admit. I would really love to close the box on the pairing because for the love of fucking god, I can't stand Axel being portrayed as an effeminate gay guy who cries about Roxas.

They were best friends. Friends. Please, Anonymous. No more AkuRoku ship secrets. Everyone thinks they're gay.

And, ironically enough, I can't stand that characterization. It makes me want to break things because it's so far off the mark. I ship them, yes - but most of the time I actually prefer the friendship dynamic because it's so much more complicated and interesting. The crazy shippers who turn them into crying weepy pretty boys irritate me to no end.

It's a secret for me because I'm not much of a shipper at all. I never RP pairings, I never write them, and I generally just don't care for them. My friends really would think I had gone out of my mind if they knew.

I'm not here to cause wank or squee excessively, no. I love their dynamic, but only when it's in character.

ahaha. I'm not much of a fan of /b/, so I can't say I'd mind much. Civility is not often enough appreciated, these days, and I feel it could stand a little more use. Thank you for being civil, too. It's a nice change, isn't it?
