Sometimes I open up several tabs of fanfic with potential and just "savour" the anticipation for it for a while, sometimes even days, before reading all of it.

I do that too! Only, I read really slowly and switch back and forth between tabs if it's really good.

Something like "I'll read a little more if I get this thing done" and stuff.

I…I currently have 3 windows, each with 15 tabs, of Steve Rogers fic open. I need help.

I am also ridiculously pleased that Steve now has more fics than Tony on AO3. Which is rather pathetic but…it is what it is.
