I'm different. I mean, he doesn't like like fanfic, and he knows it exists, and will read the really over-the-top silly ones.

He knows I write it, he knows I read it, he even vaguely knows what I ship...but really, I don't want him to read my stuff, or know what exactly I read.

It's not embarrassment exactly. But, one one hand I don't really want my "just fantasy" kinks to seep into real life

Then some other stuff, i almost feel like it's peering too deep in my soul.

Te thing that really worried me, is that he could see some parallels between our relationship and some of my ships and there it might just get a bit weird.

It would be an interesting concept to explore, although I get the feeling that in canon, Kirk is aware of it and it doesn't trouble him, given that his behavior towards Spock is pretty consistent.

But it could be taken in some interesting directions -- is Kirk grateful to Spock? What if he tries to get Spock to use this ability to help him forget OTHER painful feelings/memories? Or maybe Kirk would feel violated or exposed or as though something is missing (like the shadow of the emotion lingers)?

Lots of directions you could take.
