Maybe this is every Berserk fan. You read it and are either utterly revolted, or you become obsessed and convinced the series's touched you in some profound way... until the long waits between updates get to you.

Too bad for OP that we couldn't have fallen into it around the same time. I really could have said everything in the secret word for word a couple years back.
