Accusation on its own is not sufficient. Numbers thereof are not proof.

Especially without any evidence. Hell, I could say that my PE teacher molested me as a kid if I wanted to. That doesn't make it true. Five other people saying the same thing doesn't make it true either.

There was actually a case in my area not too long ago where a group of kids got together and decided to lie about their teacher molesting them because they were angry that they'd gotten bad grades on a test. He lost his job over it even though they eventually confessed to making it all up to get him in trouble.

over a dozen grown ass women alleging that Cosby sexually harassed or raped them is not the same as a bunch of dumbass kids banding together who don't fully understand the serious consequences that falsely accusing someone of molestation can bring

Over a dozen women, some of whom have been saying the same thing for going on 50 YEARS.

An out-of-court settlement agreement regarding a woman he has not denied having raped (probably because if he did, it would violate the agreement and she could go public with his legal admission of wrongdoing).

Multiple journalists who have had bad experiences with him during interviews, and his bad and occasionally creepy behavior (sending a female journalist a DEAD APPLE after an interview he didn't like), and admitting to either not pushing him about the allegations over the years (because he's Bill Cosby, and HDU tarnish that image), but being aware that those allegations existed.

no but it's also proof that accusations alone aren't enough to go on.

do i think he did it? yeah, i do. but i don't think he should be charged just based on allegations, because that's not how the law works for a reason.
