I feel you, OP. Whenever I post fic I also always have this feeling of waiting for specific people to notice and comment. Kudos are nice, of course, but some part of me always feels like it's dedicating the fic to my regular commenters, and whenever one of them doesn't comment I always have this moment of DD:
(even though of course I know that stuff happens etc. and it's not personal)
