That happens to me sometimes but I think a lot of it is the music (I use this music mod) and combining that with the frankly gorgeous and spooky tundra outside of Whiterun tends to make me drift off.

Huh, hadn't considered the music might be part of me. Again, I actually enjoy the music, but after listening to it for hours upon hours it does get a bit boring. (Well...not the dragonborn theme. I never get tired of that one; makes me feel larger than life.) There should've been more tracks, of a greater variety.

(Inventory always bores the hell out of me though. I'm having the same thing with Dragon Age right now, and crafting, which I don't hate, but it can be tedious and time consuming.)
