This kind of confusion over the definition of rape always perplexes me.

I remember reading The Dice Man and the male author using the word rape repeatedly for the sex scenes, even when the female character was making the first move.

I'm going to be generous and call it a difference in terms between legal rape and the kink definition, but really, it just makes the person sound stupid. The difference between rape and consensual sex is not that tricky.

Yeah. IA. If nothing else, to me the motivation is generally diametrically opposed.
