i remmeber there was some actual project. They even tried to reach out to Dante to get him involved. Like it was really going to happen. Naturally, it went nowhere. But they wanted it sooo bad.

I remember that too! It was being hosted on DA and there were so many people on board... and then it just kind of stopped.

Guess they were just satisfied with bothering Dante at conventions and having him poke fun of Mai's weight.

I'm so glad I wasn't a part of this fandom. I actually like Zuko/Katara as a ship and the more I hear about the Zutara fandom the less I ever want to be associated with them. :|

Dante was involved though, he recorded lines and everything. He actually ships Zutara/does stuff for Zutara week.

reading a few comments for a project that will never happen is not the same as something legit. As to that, I forgive Dante wanting the best for his character but doing a few lines for the fans is different then working on an actual fandom project. That project was never going to come to fruition, and I don't think that fact escaped a guy who's actually worked on stuff.

Hell, if that does count we can say Dante is more a part of homestuck now then that. And this actually got posted by Hussie on mspaint adventures.

The project wasn't as big as you're making it, it was a short scene-that fell through because the people animating it/the girl running the show had time issues/life/school, and so on.

Could be, my memory of it is vague. I remember some people treating it like it was big though. Wasn't surprised it failed though, I've seen that a lot. You know how many projects 4chan has come up with? guess how many saw the light of day.
