I don't know ayrt's situation (well, clearly) but it could be a cultural thing. in a lot of cultures, it socially acceptable and expected to live with your parents until you get married (sometimes longer) and in some places it's a bit of a taboo to move out before doing so

ahhh, that's a good point.

The whole hysterical-if-out-after-dark thing is still really weird though imo. :| Hell, even arguing when you just want to leave the house...and presumably anon is an adult...shit. I can't believe they'd hold out as long as a month. It would take me approximately one day to be done with that bullshit.
