Meh, all female characters become OHMIGAWD QUEEN, SHE FLAWLESS, after a good rigorous tumblr treatment. I saw some twits trying to do it to the Xenemorph the other day. No-one is safe.

The Xenomorphs are pretty badass, though. Mind-breakingly awful as a species, yes, but still badass.

Not arguing they're not badass, but I'm not sure about them being a flawless queen.

That's what calling a character "flawless queen" means to me, like calling them badass, not being inherently positive and supportive of their behavior, but enjoying how skilled and impressive they are at whatever good or terrible thing they do.

Of course, I'm fully willing to believe some (maybe most) tumblr weirdos use that term in a positive fashion and would defend the Xenomorphs as pillars of decency (because crazy). But that's not how I and the people I choose follow use it.

Oh okay, that's how I see most people on tumblr use it. Like 'flawless queen," is code for 'perfect female who can't be critizised in the slightest way possible, for she can do no wrong."

well considering how most female characters are usually extremely judged unfairly and treated like shit/ignored from fans and their creators, you cant blame some people for falling into this mindset.
