A lot of times, it's hard to think of what to say in comments, but some people still want to leave them because they know that carries more weight than a simple kudos/favorite/like,

I think this person is probably a genuine fan of yours; s/he just isn't very good at describing what s/he likes about something. If you really want to broach the subject, you might approach it by saying something like, "hey, thank you so much for all of your comments! I really appreciate it, and I'm glad that you like my writing! But since you've read so much of it, I was wondering: is there anything you see that I could improve upon? I want to make sure I keep progressing."
