That's true but I think you miss my point: if you gave that muggle scientist the option to become magical, don't you think he would take it? What advantage is there to being a muggle scientist over a magical one? None, quite simply.

Having magical abilities doesn't impeded one's ability to understand science, after all.

I don't know where I suggested otherwise? All I'm saying is that, sure, there will be some muggles that can do some things better than wizards. But if you gave those muggles the option of becoming wizards, they lose nothing. Whereas if you gave a wizard the opportunity to become a muggle, they most definitely lose something.

I thought the thing we are doing is having a conversation in an analogy. The reason magical beings aren't superioir is the same reason smart people aren't superior: because there are different thing you can be good at. You are basically the fantasy equivalent of that twat who thinks that all non-university educated people are idiots not worth talking to.

If an intelligent person would suddenly become stupid they would lose something.
