Generally speaking, pushups focus on muscles males tend to develop more easily, whereas the situp requirements are much closer and if they did squats I'd imagine they'd be nearly identical.

And nice! Incline pushups are great - if I get time tonight I'll post my vid of me doing the set on an incline, if I don't I'll post it next time, try and get people interested ;3

I play volleyball, so arm and back strength are things that we work on a lot during practice.

If you want to try something new, I suggest doing incline push-ups with your feet on a ball; having to keep balance really forces you to keep the tension in the whole line of your body. If we pissed off our old coach we would have to do them with only one foot on the ball, the other we would have to keep suspended until the peak of the push-up, where we would have to remain until we pulled the suspended knee laterally up towards the chest, extend it backwards, and then lower your torso back to the ground.

What do you use for the incline? I don't think I would be able to keep my back straight if my feet are up too high.

Just my bed or couch, nothing fancy. I mostly work out in my bedroom or living room, because the gym is far away and it's cold outside ;p

I'll have to try the ball, that sounds challenging!
