Oh, the kiss and "be careful' were indeed about Bucky, but everything before that, in my opinion, is pretty obviously setting up for a romance. Why mention it otherwise?

Like you said, though, it's the number of things they have to cover that makes me think there just won't be time to develop the romantic relationship well. Or the other plot lines will suffer. And I have to say, I'm much more invested in interactions with Bucky or Tony given that there's already something there (and we know from what's been leaked that Tony and Steve are going to have further confrontations). Plus, I want more Sam -- they did such a good job setting him up that it would be a waste otherwise.

To me, the Sharon-as-niece thing bothers me because there was no REASON to make her Peggy's niece. Why couldn't she be an original character?. Because even if Steve doesn't know, Sharon still would have grown up hearing about Steve from Peggy. And Peggy is still alive and it makes me super-squicked to think of Steve going to visit her while he's romancing her niece.
